Friends That Scrap
“Destination Summer” Blog Hop
Welcome to our “Friends That Scrap” first annual Blog Hop. We are a
yahoo based group that loves to scrapbook, learn new techniques and styles from
other crafty gals like ourselves, share our talents and like to form on-line
friendships with those that have our same interests. This blog hop is designed
to share our “Destination Summer” projects with you and, if you are
located in the United States or Canada, invite you to come and join our yahoo
group!
If this is your first stop on the blog hop, you will want to start at the
beginning at Debbie’s blog (she one of the co-owners of the “Friends That
Scrap” group) http://debshomesweethome-debbie.blogspot.com
. You will visit eleven member’s blogs, starting with Debbie, who then will
link you to the next blog. You’ll find some great summer related projects and
most blogs have a giveaway for you to enter. Giveaways close on Sunday, July
24th at midnight CST so be sure to visit all the blogs and comment by then.
I went to Convention for Close to My Heart this past weekend. I saw something that I LOVED. It was a little album made from envelopes. It is so cute and easy!! Since this is a summer hop, I am using an older paper pack called Splendor. There are 4 pockets for pictures or memorabilia. This ties shut with ribbon. All items for this project are from Close to My Heart, list provided after pictures.
This is the front of it while tied closed.
This is one of the sides of it while opened. There are places for photos. You can see the ribbons of the 3 hidden tags that insert in the envelope.
Here is the other side. This includes a little tag pocket on one section. Under the Frog is a flap of an A-Door-able where you can put a picture or anything else.
This is a picture of the little tag in the pocket.

These 3 tags have plenty of space on them. You could put a picture on one side and lots of room for journaling.
Here are the items that I used on this project:
Splendor Paper Pack X7124B
Twinkle Brads Z1220
Blue/Green Sparkles Z1327
My Creations A-Door-ables Z1321
Topiary Ink Z2155

Tombow Adhesive 1514
Mini Glue Dots Z341
Just Blooms Z1300
White Daisy Grosgrain Ribbon Z270

Hot Diggity Stamp Set C1407
Here is my Blog Candy for this Blog Hop. It is Close To My Heart Stamp set called Share the Magic – D1443, 3×3″ block – Y1006, Colonial White/Sweetleaf Embellishments, and Bling shapes.
