Sophia Card – A Fun Fold

I got a card at convention that I thought was great (Thanks Becky Welch).  SO I decided that I would make one.  This is my version of it.  I love how it came out!!  It was so simple to make too.

The background paper is 5″x12″.  it is cut at 1 1/2″ from each side from 2″ to 10″.  Then it is scored at 2″, 4″, 8″ and 10″.  Fold the top and bottom opposite the middle section.  All other pieces I measured out as I wanted to fit the spaces.  I rounded the corners as the one i had was like that and I liked the look.  You could leave them alone if you would like.

Here are the Close to My Heart Products I used:

Pear Cardstock – X5905

Pear Ink – Z2197

Daisy White Cardstock – 1385

Hollyhock Cardstock – X5909

Hollyhock Ink – Z2128

Sophia Paper - X7131B

A Little Buzz stamp set – B1353

Red/Pink/Purple Sparkles – Z1326

Blue/Green Sparkles – Z1327

Here is a base that has lines for cutting and scoring.  The solid line are where you cut.  The dashed lines are where you score and fold.  Hope this helps you make one!!

Alicia, I don’t quite understand how I am supposed to cut this. Could you do a line drawing to show the cuts?
    Thanks, Cindy D
