This is a card I made after I watched a StampTV video. I am so excited at how it came out! I think this is very pretty! I am going to be using this technique again and again!!
To do this, you take a larger piece of cardstock and tear it. You place two sides across the card so you have a small strip to ink, taping it to your workspace. You take a lighter color ink and rub it across the area. Be sure you put pressure down so that the card base does not slide. Then take a darker shade and ink just near the edges. Then stamp in black and color as you choose. I used this stamp set because of the open areas. Embellish as you wish. I love ribbon so that is what i did. You could also stamp a sentiment in the bottom white area too!
This makes a great technique to get a flatter card with dimension in the inking!

What a great idea for the sponging. I sure am going to try this technique. I love it it looks so real. Thanks for the inspiration. I am new to making cards and this seems like something I can do. I try most of the techniques I see, so thanks for this.
